SEAR BLISS: 15th-Anniversary Concert Details Revealed

October 12, 2008

Hungarian symphonic black metal band SEAR BLISS will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a huge show in Budapest, Avalon Club on November 29. In addition to the current members of the band, SEAR BLISS' original lineup ("Phantoms" era) will take the stage for the first time in 11 years.

SEAR BLISS is currently writing the material for its seventh album which will be recorded and released next year.

SEAR BLISS' sixth album, "The Arcane Odyssey", was released in September 2007 through Candlelight Records. The CD artwork was created by Jozsef Tari, a highly talented Hungarian artist who worked with SEAR BLISS on their fifth album and also VENOM's "Wastelands" LP, among others. The artwork depicts an ancient Hungarian legend of the origin of the Milky Way. The Milky Way in Hungary is often called "The Road Of The Warriors" because the legend says that Csaba, commander of the mighty Huns, came from the nightsky to the aid of the fighting Hungarians and after the great battle was won, the dead army of thousands returned to the stars on their horses, leaving the path of the Milky Way.
